The Catty Shack was founded by Crystal Walsh in 2013 in Ben Wheeler, Texas, and she continues to serve as the Director. Since then, we have rescued, spayed, neutered, transported or assisted the public with THOUSANDS of cats and have logged nearly a million road miles in the process.
Our rescue tries to focus on keeping cats out of the shelter. We do so by offering a lot of assistance to the public enabling them to keep their beloved pet, including, housing help, vetting of any kind, food assistance and education.
